- What is Holistic Health Counseling?
- Think, nutrition meets life coaching. Holistic Health Counseling uses food therapeutically to ease health issues. It also addresses your emotions, relationships, personality, career, spirituality, and creativity.
- How often do we meet for a 6-Month Program?
- We meet twice a month, for 45 minutes each session. Because it’s a 6-month program, there are 12 sessions total.
- What kind of clients does Liz typically work with?
- Most of my clients are women with Hashimoto’s Thyroid Disease. However, I have also worked with people with diseases of the immune system (genetic and acquired), Lyme Disease, Addison’s Disease, Graves’ Disease, systemic Candida infections, Celiac Disease, Myasthenia Gravis, eating disorders, infertility, iron deficiency, and digestive illnesses.

- Can I schedule a free consultation before I decide if the program is a fit for me?
- Absolutely! We have to be a good fit, and the program has to be coming at the right time in your life. Email me to set-up a free initial consultation to learn about my services and to chat about where you’re at with your health.
- Is Holistic Health Counseling a quick fix?
- Holistic Health Counseling is a behavior modification program, it is not a quick fix. It helps you create lifelong healthy changes that are sustainable and practical. Because making changes to diet and lifestyle can be hard, Liz acts as a supporter, encourager, and ally to keep you motivated and focused on your goals. There’s nothing magical here, except the results you get with good old fashioned hard work.
- Are Holistic Health Counselors like Dieticians, giving clients a long list of do’s and don’ts?
- Holistic Health Counseling is not a long do and don’t list. That approach is not useful or practical and people cannot sustain it in the long term; it also does not address “primary food” causes of illness.
- I want to improve my health so badly but sometimes I lose motivation and get frustrated, is that okay?
- Look, we all lose motivation. No matter how badly we want to reach our goal of feeling better and not feeling miserable everyday, sometimes we falter. Sometimes we feel guilty or sorry for ourselves. This is normal. That’s why you’re hiring Liz — to motivate, empower you, hold you accountable, and remind you how wonderfully you are doing. (Seriously, we all need to hear this)
- How much success will I have?
- Success ultimately is dependent upon what you put into the program and how much effort you put into yourself. Liz provides you with all the tools; you make all the effort.
- I am so inspired by Liz’s recovery from Hashimoto’s. Can I ask her about her experience?
- Please do — I love connecting with ladies (and some gents) about what I have been through. There’s alot of hope in my story, so ask away!
- I am a health practitioner (acupuncturist, chiropractor, massage therapist, personal trainer, OT, etc.). Does Liz appreciate referrals and participate in referral programs from other practitioners?
- Absolutely. Please email me for more details and to chat by phone about how I can support your clients nutritional needs.
